Improved Solubility: J3000™ is 93 percent soluble while lower end tackifiers are only 50 to 80 percent soluble. You are buying an active ingredient rather than insoluble residue that does not contribute to effective and even distribution of the adhesive in the mulch.

Improved Viscosity: J3000™ has over 200 times the viscosity at the same concentration when compared to lower end tackifiers. This is a most important property for several reasons:

• The lubrication effect enhances machine pump performance and creates a more uniform and controllable spray pattern.
• Viscosity keeps the tackifier in contact with the fiber during the application trajectory and prevents drainoff once impact with the ground has occurred.
• Viscosity controls the rate the tackifier weeps off into the soil and maintains fiber contact until curing can set up the final bond.
