LIQUID ENZYME BREAKER

Description:

Rantec LEB-4 is a highly concentrated liquid enzyme based breaker. It is used to break water based guar gum and derivitized guar gum gels and viscous slurries. LEB-4 reduces the viscosity of gels and slurries to less than 15 cPs or 30 MFs, enhancing fluid flow and recovery of fluid from wells and gravel packed extraction trenches. When used properly, with proper circulation, LEB-4 will increase gravel pack permeability.

Use rate is dependant on fluid pH, fluid temperature and desired break time. Recommended rate varies from 0.1 pint to 0.5 pints per 1000 gallons of fluid. The desired amount of LEB-4 should be diluted with water to a volume which can be easily metered or handled and added to the fluid during circulation.

Handling and Storage Recommendations:

LEB-4 should be stored in a cool, dry location. Shelf life for unopened containers is typically 1-2 years but can be extended by storing under refrigeration. Keep all containers tightly closed. Use quickly after opening.

LEB-4 is non-toxic and virtually harmless. LEB-4 may be irritating if contacted with the eyes. LEB-4 may irritate the skin of extremely sensitive individuals. Chemical splash goggles and cloth or rubber gloves are recommended when handling LEB-4. Refer to MSDS for more detailed information.
